OCALICON uses OCALI Pass as its primary tool for managing registration, proposals/presenters, volunteers, and exhibitors. OCALI Pass is a free online user account system developed and maintained by OCALI.
General
OCALI Pass accounts are voluntary and available free of charge to anyone who wishes to participate in professional development opportunities offered through the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI). There is no cost for creating or maintaining an OCALI Pass account, however certain professional development opportunities that are accessed through OCALI Pass may require a registration fee.
Access to an OCALI Pass account is gained through a user name (email address) and password. Users have the opportunity to update/change their account information as needed or necessary. Only one OCALI Pass account can be set up per email address.
OCALI Pass users grant permission to OCALI to utilize users' information as part of a professional development opportunity. User information will be used to generate an attendance roster, name badge, etc.
OCALI Pass users grant permission to OCALI to email periodic and timely news and information to keep users informed of opportunity releases, deadlines, and updates. OCALI will not share or distribute a user's identity and/or contact information with outside or third party entities unless user grants OCALI permission to do so. OCALI Pass users may unsubscribe from the OCALI Pass mailing list by submitting a request to events@ocali.org.
Although an OCALI Pass is not required for all opportunities offered by OCALI, certain opportunities offered by OCALI may require the use of an OCALI Pass.
The account holder is entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account information - including account password - and for any and all activity that occurs through use of an OCALI Pass. Users are encouraged to keep their password private and not to share their password or account with anyone else. Users may elect to have their account deleted at any time by sending a written request to events@ocali.org.
Users are forbidden from using anyone else's OCALI Pass password or account without the express permission of the account owner. The account holder agrees to immediately notify OCALI of any unauthorized use of an OCALI Pass.
Multimedia Release
OCALI (and/or it's designated contractors) may choose to capture photos, images, audio, video, and/or other multimedia footage from events and conferences that it offers for use in online, broadcast, or print promotional materials. Unless permission is revoked in writing to OCALI, by virtue of their attendance, participants consent to the use of their image, voice, or likeness in OCALI-produced online, broadcast, or print materials. Furthermore, no financial compensation will be provided to participants for the use or publication of photos, images, audio, video, or other multimedia footage.
Credit Card Processing
Credit card payments collected through OCALI Pass ARE NOT processed or housed on OCALI or OCALI Pass servers. Such transactions occur and are archived on a site with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security. This site is owned and maintained by an external service provider specifically employed to handle electronic credit card transactions.
Cancellations and Refunds
OCALI Pass users may submit a request for cancellation or refund to events@ocali.org. Cancellation and refund policies vary from opportunity to opportunity, but, in general, a registration may be transferred to another attendee for free. A nominal administration fee may be charged for a cancelled registration. Late cancellations may not receive a refund.
Analytics
OCALI occasionally uses analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to help measure traffic and usage trends for its websites. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.
