It is impossible for just a few people to single-handedly pull off an event the scope and size of OCALICON. It takes a small army of support staff, video producers, tech specialists, fiscal aficionados, marketing coordinators, content experts and administrative leaders to bring it all to life. But there are three people who are at the core of the planning and implementation. Allow us to introduce ourselves.

Conference and Events Manager
Simon has been with OCALI for over twenty years, wearing the hats of conference director and general jack-of-all-trades. When he’s not orchestrating the conference or fine-tuning a podcast episode, you can find him pedaling through the great outdoors, grilling up a storm, or spinning vinyl like it’s 1999. With Simon around, there’s never a dull moment—unless he’s on a bike ride, then it’s just him and the open road!

National and State Partnerships Coordinator
Meet Jill, the programming wizard of OCALICON, conjuring up everything from breakout sessions to keynotes and special events. If you receive an out-of-office reply from her, it’s a safe bet she’s either in her home state of Texas or gallivanting around the globe, seeking out the world’s hidden gems. What started as a one-year gig at OCALI has magically transformed into twenty years of adventure—and she’s still counting!

Event Specialist
After leaving her previous job, Courtney traded routine for adventure and spent a few months living in Kenya—a decision that set the tone for what came next. When she returned home, she joined OCALI as a “short-term” contractor—but then never left. Over a decade later, she’s still here, proving that once you experience OCALI, it’s hard to walk away. These days, Courtney keeps everything running behind the scenes as the go-to force for registration, social media, and purchasing. Ironically, while she manages conference social media, she doesn’t have any personal accounts of her own, relishing a life lived away from the fray. If something needs organizing, promoting, or making happen, she’s already on it.
