Responsible Use of AI
OCALICON recognizes the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, professional practice, and daily work. When used thoughtfully and responsibly, AI can be a valuable tool for learning, creativity, and operational efficiency.
As a community built on respect, trust, and collaboration, OCALICON encourages participants to use AI in ways that support and enhance human expertise, connection, and learning, not replace them. Please exercise good judgment, critically evaluate AI-generated content, be transparent about its use when appropriate, and respect privacy, intellectual property, and applicable safeguards.
Presenters are encouraged to disclose any use of AI tools in the development of session materials, presentation content, or delivery methods. This transparency helps attendees understand the role AI played in the creation of content and supports informed discussion and learning.
To protect participant privacy and foster open engagement, AI-powered note-taking, transcription, recording, or meeting-assistant tools are not permitted during conference sessions. Except for AI-powered real-time captions, all Zoom AI features and related AI tools have been disabled for conference sessions.
OCALICON is a community of shared values. We ask participants to use AI in a manner that honors the spirit of the conference and contributes positively to the experience of all participants.
