Accessibility

OCALICON is committed to providing the most inclusive experience possible. How can we help?

Accessibility and Accommodations

OCALI is committed to providing opportunities for full participation by all conference attendees. Whether you need an ASL or tactile interpreter, braille or large print documents, accommodations for a service animal, assisted listening device, support for sensory sensitivities, or other supports, simply let us know, and we'll work with you to arrange, schedule, and coordinate.

Please note: All requests must be received by Friday, October 18, 2019, to provide OCALI with sufficient notice for securing accommodations.

How Do I Submit My Request for Accommodations?

Look for this question on your registration form: "Please include any requests for provisions, services, or equipment per the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)." Enter your request(s) in the space provided, and we will be in touch to confirm and provide details/information and next steps. You may also email the OCALICON Accommodation Request Form. Again, all requests must be received by Friday, October 18, 2019. We will do our best to honor requests received after this date, but cannot guarantee fulfillment.

What is the Accessibility Desk?

The Accessibility Desk is the onsite accessibility and accommodations headquarters. Centrally located inside the exhibit hall near Main Registration and open during regular conference hours, the Accessibility Desk helps connect attendees with their requested accommodations. Meet up with ASL Interpreters, pick up braille or large print copies, or secure a motorized scooter – we can even provide dog waste bags for your canine companion. Stop by the Accessibility Desk any time during the conference if you have a question or need some assistance. We're here to help!
