REGISTRATION

How do I register for OCALICON?

Registration opens in early April 2018. You may register here.

How do I transfer a registration?

Attendees may transfer an OCALICON registration to another attendee for free. A request to transfer a registration must be submitted in writing before October 15. All requests to transfer a registration after October 15 must be completed on-site at the Registration Desk. The transferor's name badge must be turned in to OCALI, then a new badge will be printed for the transferee.

Where do I register for each session I wish to attend?

Sessions are filled on a first come, first served basis. Individual session registration is not required nor accepted.

I only want to attend one session. How do I register?

OCALICON offers a single day registration rate. Single-day registrants may attend the full day or a partial day.

Do you need proof that I am a parent or family member of someone with a disability for the parent/family member rate?

We welcome all parents and family members of someone with autism or a disability to register at the parent/family member rate. No proof or verification is required.


HOTEL

How do I book a hotel room?

OCALICON has room blocks with special conference rates at several hotels near the convention center.

OCALI is not in our vendor system, who is your fiscal agent?

The ESC of Central Ohio is OCALI's fiscal agent. Please note that the ESC of Central Ohio and OCALI offices are located in different buildings and have different mailing addresses. 

Where do I send my PO or check?

Mail P.O. and/or check along with your completed registration form to OCALICON 2018, 470 Glenmont Ave., Columbus, OH 43214.


CONTINUING EDUCATION (CEUS)

What CEUs does OCALICON offer?

Information about continuing education units can be found here.

Can I get CEUs if I attend as a parent?

Yes. CEUs are available for all OCALICON participants.

Can I get CEUs if I attend as a volunteer?

Yes. CEUs are available for all OCALICON participants.

I attended OCALICON 20XX, but can't find my certificate. Can you send me a replacement?

Yes. Please email your request for a replacement certificate.


RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM

What are the poster dimensions for the Research Symposium?

The poster panels are 7'6" tall by 3' wide.  

Sessions

When will the Session Sorter open?

The Session Sorter is the online tool that allows users to search through the entire list of session offerings at OCALICON. Searches can be made by topic, audience, speaker, and more. The Session Sorter opens in Summer 2018.

When will the program be posted on the website?

The conference program will be posted on the OCALICON website by Wednesday, October 31, 2018, in the following formats: issuu (online "magazine style"), PDF, and Word. A print copy of the program will be distributed on-site at OCALICON.


CHILDCARE

Does OCALICON provide childcare? 

OCALICON does not presently provide childcare. Please coordinate childcare before arriving at OCALICON.
