NEW for 2026: Clarification on Parent Rate Attendance Documentation
OCALI offers a special parent rate because we believe families should have access to the same world-class learning opportunities provided by experts and leaders from across the United States and around the world. This discounted rate is intended for parents and family members of individuals with disabilities, self-advocates, and students. It is not intended for professionals seeking continuing education credit, professional development hours, or employment-related training documentation.
To help us continue offering this special parent rate while preserving continuing education opportunities for professional attendees, several changes were implemented for 2026. Because this is the first year these changes have been in place, we wanted to provide additional clarification in response to questions we have received.
The OCALICONLINE parent rate does not include CEUs, continuing education credit, professional development hours, contact hours, attendance hour verification, or any other documentation used to satisfy employment, licensure, certification, reimbursement, or professional development requirements.
If you need documentation for any of those purposes, the parent rate will not meet those needs.
Attendees registered at the parent rate may request a certificate of attendance after completing the full-conference evaluation and submitting the required request form. The full-conference evaluation and request form will be available beginning Friday, November 20, 2026.
Parent rate attendance certificates will include only:
Parent rate certificates will not include:
Because no attendance hours or continuing education information is included, these certificates cannot be used as documentation of professional development, continuing education participation, training hours, or contact hours.
