Live Event

Is this event in-person or online?

The entirety of OCALICONLINE 2022 will be exclusively online, with no in-person gatherings.

What will the virtual event look like?

The virtual conference will be a four-day conference with over 200 sessions. We will use our own platform accessed through your OCALI Pass account, coupled with integrations from Zoom.

Once I register, how do I access the live event?

You will log into your OCALI Pass account in order to access the conference. We recommend logging into your account in advance of the conference to ensure you know your password and are ready to go first thing on November 15! We don't want you to be frazzled at the last-minute, trying to figure out how to log in and miss great content!

Am I required to attend the entirety of the event?

Of course not! We realize schedules are challenging and it may not be realistic for someone to attend all four days, but this is the beauty of our on-demand feature! You can attend the live event as your schedule allows, and you can catch everything else later on-demand. You have the power to decide what meets your needs, whether that's attending the live event, watching on-demand or a combination of both.

I know I'm registered, but when I log in, it appears that I'm not. What happened?

In this instance, most people are logging in with an email different from the email that was used for registration. You want to be sure to use the email address where you received your official conference confirmation email. Your registration is tied to a specific email address, not the attendee's name; if the email you're trying to log in with doesn't match the email that is registered, you won't be able to access the content.

Do I need to have the Zoom app in order to attend OCALICONLINE?

Downloading the latest version of the Zoom app is recommended, but not required. Having the app will allow you to take advantage of all the Zoom features that may not be available or accessible via the web-based version.

Do I have to pre-register for each individual session I want to attend?

No, sessions are first-come, first-served. Also, adding a session to your 'My Schedule' feature in the Session Sorter (available later this summer!) does not reserve or guarantee you a spot in the virtual session.

Are there limits to the number of people who can join a session?

There is a limit for sessions, though we anticipate there being plenty of room in each session. We encourage attendees to join the session a few minutes early, if possible.

If I miss a session or cannot attend a certain portion due to another commitment, will recordings be available on-demand for me to watch later?

Yes, most breakout sessions will be recorded and available following the conference. A precise listing of what session types will and will not be recorded can be found on our on-demand page.

Will there be live networking opportunities?

Networking opportunities are layered throughout the event. Networking sessions will not be recorded or available on-demand. And don't forget - there's always social media!
