Once I register, how do I access the live event?
You will log into your OCALI Pass account in order to access the conference. We recommend logging into your account in advance of the conference to ensure you know your password and are ready to go first thing on November 16! We don't want you to be frazzled at the last-minute, trying to figure out how to log in and miss great content!
I know I'm registered, but when I log in, it appears that I'm not. What happened?
In this instance, most people are logging in with an email different from the email that was used for registration. You will want to be sure to use whatever email address where you received your official conference confirmation email. Your registration is tied to a specific email address; if they don't match, you won't be able to access the content.
Do I need to have a Zoom account in order to attend OCALICONLINE?
A Zoom account is recommended, but not required. Having an account will allow you to take advantage of all the Zoom features that may not be available or accessible via the web-based version. Once you log in to your OCALI Pass account, you will use the Session Sorter tool to find the sessions you want to attend. Once found, simply click the Zoom link to join the session.
Do I have to pre-register for each individual session I want to attend?
No, sessions are first-come, first-served. Also, adding a session to your My Schedule feature in the Session Sorter does not reserve or guarantee you a spot in the virtual session.
Are there limits to the number of people who can join a session?
There is a limit for sessions, though we anticipate there being plenty of room in each session. We encourage attendees to join the session a few minutes early, if possible.
If I miss a session or cannot attend a certain portion due to another commitment, will recordings be available on-demand for me to watch later?
Yes, most breakout sessions will be recorded and available following the conference.
Will there be live networking opportunities?
Networking opportunities are layered throughout the event. Networking sessions will not be recorded and available on-demand. And don't forget - there's always social media!
