Is there a group rate available this year?
While a group is still welcome to register as such, there is no designated group rate available for OCALICONLINE. You will select a standard conference rate, but can use these group instructions to register.
Can I register the day of the event or anytime during?
Yes! Registration will be open until Friday, November 19, when the event ends.
I'm not attending the event, but I need to register someone else on their behalf. How can I do this?
There are two options for registering someone on their behalf. You can either a) obtain their OCALI Pass log in credentials and use their account to log in and complete the process, or b) complete the PDF form found on our registration page.
It is not possible to log in using your own account to register someone else.
I can only attend one or two days of the event, not all four. Is there a single-day or two-day rate available?
The conference is one flat rate, whether you can attend one day, two days or all days.
I can no longer attend. Can someone else come in my place? How do I transfer a registration?
Yes. In order to transfer your registration, please email your request to the OCALICON team.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Attendees may transfer a registration to another attendee for free. A request to transfer a registration must be submitted by emailing the conference team. All OCALICON registration cancellations submitted before Friday, October 15, 2021, will receive a full refund. Cancellations after Friday, October 15, 2021, will incur a $50.00 processing fee per individual registration refund. A request to cancel an attendee registration must be submitted in writing or by emailing the conference team.
Do you need proof that I am a parent or family member of someone with a disability for the parent/family member rate?
We welcome all parents and family members of someone with autism or a disability to register at the parent/family member rate. No proof or verification is required.
Do I have to have my purchase order (PO) open before registering?
Yes, you must have your PO open and available before registering. The system requires that you enter a valid PO number in order to complete the process.
I would like to take advantage of the current rate and register my staff, but I know we'll be hiring someone new later so I really just need to register someone as a placeholder. Can I register all of my staff now and then transfer a registration to our new person once they are hired?
Yes, you can register someone to serve as a placeholder and we can then transfer his/her registration to the new hire. There is no way to register someone without associating it with a specific account, which is why we have to have a named person registered.
