Preparing to Present

What's one of the keys to delivering a polished presentation? Practice, practice, practice!

No, really. We recommend practicing – and often. Record yourself and play it back. Reflect on what worked and what might need some improvement. Present to the mirror. Present to your dog. Present to your kids. If you're co-presenting, focus on smooth transitions and creating a natural flow in your content and among one another. Ensure your timing allows for live engagement as well as enough time for your content. View your environment the way your audoence will see the room and lighting. The point is – practice pays off!
