Demonstration |
This show-and-tell style session allows presenters to walk through a website or training, physically hold up objects or manipulatives, and introduce resources while generating engagement through a semi-hands-on session. Facilitated Discussion |
This dynamic, interactive conversation is designed to engage the audience in sharing their thoughts, ideas, strategies, and perspectives with one another. Presenters act more like facilitators, briefly introducing a topic and then posing questions to draw the audience into a discussion, actively engaging them in a lively and emerging exchange of thoughts, viewpoints, and ideas. |
2-4 presenters |
Lecture |
An individual or small group presents content and applications on key topics and issues. These sessions are designed for presenters to share information on a specific topic as well as cultivate increased understanding and a transfer of knowledge that empowers attendees to apply to their own work through the use of examples, stories, manipulatives, Google Docs, and activities. |
1-4 presenters |
Panel |
A group of individuals share their unique and varied perspectives on a specific topic or theme. Presenters engage in a conversation, offer their own viewpoint/experience, and answer questions from a moderator and/or one another. |
