Digital Swag Bag

Thanks for registering for OCALICONLINE 2025!

As an attendee this year, we wanted to share with you some bonus items simply because we love giving things away. Whether that's expertise, resources, tools, tips, or trainings, we firmly believe in freely sharing knowledge. Which is why we've put together a list of FREE resources you can put to work today. Think of it as a curated swag bag of sorts, just of the digital variety! And if the list below isn't enough for you, visit ocali.org for one of the largest collections of resources, tools and professional development courses related to disabilities.

Ensuring Access to the General Curriculum
This 10-part video series explores strategies grounded in research that are designed to ensure ALL learners have access to the general curriculum.

Gallery of Interventions
Explore these interventions to support all learners. Each intervention has a how-to explanation so it can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual you work or live with. Includes printable downloads!

Universal Design for Learning Webinar Series
The Universal Design for Learning Center at OCALI was created to help remove barriers to learning through purposeful planning that leads to meaningful instruction for all students. All webinars have indexed entry points to allow you to move to the section of the webinar that is most relevant to your needs.

LEGO Braille Bricks
Serving students with visual impairments? Did you know you could access Braille Bricks through our AT&AEM Center? The LEGO Braille Bricks are being offered FREE of charge by the LEGO Foundation and were designed to be used with an educational curriculum that is led by a teacher.

Take 5 Webcasts
Learn about essential topics for transition and adulthood and engage in new ideas through Take 5 webcasts. Each short video in the Take 5 series will review a topic, concept, or idea about transition and adult life planning, service and support for those assisting youth and adults with disabilities, and provides five take-away resources.

Family and Community Outreach Resource Gallery
These resources provide families information they need on a variety of topics. From what to do if you suspect your child has autism to where to get supports or services, the information you need can be found here.

Early Childhood Education Station
Are you an early childhood professional that needs hours toward your credential? Do you want to build your knowledge about early childhood topics? Then look no further!

Promoting Access Modules
This self-paced online module offers a collection of introductory information, evidence-based strategies, and scenarios at home, school, and in the community designed to build confidence and comfort for anyone communicating or connecting with people who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or visually impaired.

Autism Certification Center
ASD Strategies in Action gives families and service providers tools to ensure they are equipped to effectively care for, support, educate, employ, or work with individuals on the autism spectrum from early childhood to young adulthood.

Autism Internet Modules

Assistive Technology Internet Modules
Accessibility is often the key to independence. Because each person’s needs are different, it is important to carefully assess what assistive technologies (AT) are necessary and how to effectively use them. Designed for educators, professionals, families, persons with disabilities, and others of all ages, the Assistive Technology Internet Modules (ATIM) guide users through case studies, instructional videos, pre- and post-assessments, glossaries, discussion questions, and more.

Lending Library
Looking to try some assistive technology? Maybe looking for specifics books related to disability? Need some assessment tools? The OCALI Lending Library is available to any person over the age of 18 residing or working in the state of Ohio - all for FREE!
