Q: What happens if the event is cancelled due to COVID-19? Will we get a refund?
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, OCALI will continue to monitor all information, guidelines, and recommendations in the coming weeks and months provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as federal, state, and local officials. The exhibitor cancellation policy stated in the contract indicates that if an exhibitor chooses to cancel, they will receive a 100% refund if cancelled before September 11, 2020.
Q: We exhibited at OCALICON 2019 and would like the same booth space for 2020. Is that possible?
A: Because we are in a different hall this year for 2020 and because our floor plan is vastly different compared to 2019, exhibitors will not be able to secure the same booth space they had for the previous year.
Q: Why so few promotional options compared to previous years?
A: After evaluating the value and impact of many of our promotional opportunities, we decided to scale back the offerings to the most popular and/or what we deemed most effective. If you have a promotional idea but don't see it listed, please contact Courtney to discuss.
Q: I'll need to leave early one day, but I'll be back the next. Is that okay?
A: We ask that exhibitors have their booth manned at all times while the exhibit hall is open. If you are unable to stay for any portion of exhibit hall hours, please find the appropriate staff from your organization to cover for you. If there is no available coverage and your booth would be unmanned for an extended period of time, we kindly ask that you not exhibit.
Q: I would like to be next to a particular organization. Is that possible?
A: Yes! Communicate with your cooperating organization/business to determine your locations, and then complete your contracts, indicating your desired booth locations.
Q: I'm having troubles with the PDF and can't get it to save properly. Do you have an alternate form?
A: Yes, a Word version is available for download.
Q: What happened to the scavenger hunt?
A: We have modified the format of the scavenger hunt, creating a hybrid of that coupled with door prizes. To read about how the changes will take place, read more in our promotional boost listings.
Q: How many passes come with my booth? Can I purchase more?
A: Each exhibitor receives 3 full-conference passes (meaning the attendee receives access to all sessions, all keynotes and the exhibit hall) as part of their booth package. Additional full-conference passes can be purchased for $50. Exhibit-hall only passes are available upon request, and grant access only to the exhibit hall area.
