Two options are available at OCALICONLINE 2024 for graduate credit, either through:
You must register for both the conference and the graduate course(s) of your choosing in order to obtain credit.
For $165.00 per graduate credit fee (in addition to a paid OCALICONLINE 2024 conference registration) and satisfactory completion of the assignments, participants can earn graduate credit for OCALICONLINE 2024 from Kent State University during the live virtual event, November 19-22, 2024.
On-demand content graduate credit is also available for $165.00 per credit hour. On-demand sessions will be available as soon as November 25, 2024, through January 10, 2025.
Participants can earn up to three (3) graduate credits for OCALICONLINE 2024. Please see Kent State’s website for specific information.
Conference attendees are able to register for graduate credit in advance of the conference.
Participants wishing to register after November 29, 2024, should email pd@kent.edu to be granted an exception.

Participants can earn up to three (3) graduate credits for OCALICONLINE 2024.
OCALICONLINE 2024 is a live virtual event from Tuesday, November 19, 2024 – Friday, November 22, 2024, and an on-demand event beginning during the live event and extending through January 10, 2025.
Conference attendees are welcome to register for credits in advance of the conference. Ashland is offering one, two, and three credit options this year, each which have separate registration links:
One graduate credit, Course 6150 T2
Two graduate credits, Course 6150 U2
Three graduate credits, Course 6150 V2

Assignments and Requirements for Credit
Ashland is requiring you to document information for the sessions you are attending, both during the live virtual event and the on-demand. Please download the document found on your respective course's registration page and use it to document your session attendance. You will submit this form with the other parts of your assignment.
Once you have completed the log, you may choose one of the options below for each graduate credit hour. Use a 12-point font, double spaced for your paper(s).
For each graduate credit hour:
1. Write a three to five-page paper reflecting on your reaction to the concepts, strategies and/or insights presented and their value in your current role.
OR
2. As you reflect on your learning during this professional development experience, identify and explain two practices or concepts that resonated with you. In a three to five-page paper, describe how you will implement them in your district, school or classroom.
OR a combination of 1 and 2 with 3:
3. Create a presentation to share with colleagues. Include your PowerPoint and two pages describing the type of presentation, who the attendees would be, and any images links and other resources used in the presentation. THIS IS NOT A GROUP PROJECT.

All assignments are due 30 days after completion of OCALICONLINE 2024 sessions. Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (S/U) grades will be assigned by Courtney Kessler, Director of PDS, and Ashland Adjunct.
