Program Overview


OCALICON 2018 participants will engage in world-class, research-based, practical-application sessions presented or facilitated by leaders, professionals, individuals, and content experts from across the nation and around the world.

Sessions address needs across the lifespan from infant/toddler through older adult and target a breadth of disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, sensory disabilities, complex and low-incidence disabilities, as well as increased session offerings for intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, communication disorders, and learning disabilities across settings such as the home, school, community, and workplace.

Sessions are presented in different formats in order to best meet audience needs and learning styles such as panels, hands-on interactive sessions, facilitated discussions, and more. Participants will leave with actionable strategies and ideas to implement and put into practice.
