OCALICON is held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, the first convention center in the world to be certified sensory inclusive.
OCALICON is held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) located at 400 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43215. GCCC is one of the busiest convention centers in North America and completed a $140 million expansion and renovation in 2017. The facility is host to such renowned events as the Arnold Sports Festival, and boasts close to 2 million square feet of event space. Since its inception, OCALICON has proudly partnered with GCCC to provide an event space fit for the nation's premier conference on autism and disabilities.
In 2019, GCCC became the first convention center in the world to to be Certified Sensory Inclusive through KultureCity. The Center is now equipped with sensory bags, which are available free of charge to attendees and are equipped with special KultureCity VIP identification badges for guests to wear, noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools, verbal cue cards and weighted lap pads to comfort guests that may be overwhelmed by the busy environment.
OCALICON breakout sessions will be held in the A-pod, B-pod, C-pod rooms, and the Short North Ballrooms. The keynote stage, poster sessions, and the exhibitors will be in Exhibit Hall C. Complete facility maps may be found on GCCC's website.
