In continued support of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), OCALICON 2016 is committed to providing accommodations for all conference participants. The following accommodations are available upon request:
- Interpreting services
- Large print materials and/or advanced electronic versions of materials
- Assistive listening devices
- Braille materials**
The Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) complies with ADA guidelines for buildings and facilities. Each contracted hotel block includes a limited number of ADA-accessible rooms.
Note: Participants are encouraged to book a room early as hotels will hold ADA accessible rooms only until all other rooms are sold out.
Attendees may include any additional ADA requests for provisions, services or equipment on the OCALICON 2016 registration form. Requests may also be emailed. OCALI will review all requests and work with all participants to provide them with reasonable accommodations throughout their conference experience.
** The conference schedule will be available in Braille upon request. All other conference materials will be available in an electronic format upon request.
Deadline: ADA requests must be received by Friday, October 14, 2016, to provide OCALI with sufficient advance notice for providing reasonable accommodations.
